jr_lavoie This album captures the 60s garage sound perfectly - if it wasn't "new", I'd swear it was recorded back then! Learning of the Light sounds astonishingly authentic; both Microscoope's fuzz guitar and flanged guitar perfectly complement the organ. Sinister Poison is playfully fun musically; Owsley sounds like an Animals song at first, and then becomes a pure garage gem. Let Love Be Love has a great chord progression that has to be heard multiple times. Fans of Garage Rock will love this! Favorite track: Microscoope.
